Shrawan K. Persaud (Fred), Chief Operations Officer
Shrawan Kumar Persaud has over twenty years of technical and operational experience in a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, direct marketing and transaction processing. This, coupled with a BS Honors Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Post-Graduate Degree in Information Systems Engineering, gives him a complete perspective on past, present and future business trends.
Shrawan is currently in charge of operations at NationalCard Processing Systems, a company that is focused on becoming a leading transaction processor for the banking, retail and hospitality industries. This company was founded by some of the leading veterans in the credit card processing and direct marketing industries having approximately 50 years of combined experience in the management council, on which he is a member.
Prior to this, Shrawan was the Director of Information Technology for Retail Resources, a New Jersey based Direct Mail and Database Marketing company, during it’s most successful period including it’s acquisition by Trans Union Corporation and subsequently by Acxiom Corporation - a global leader in customer integration products. At this company, Shrawan built and developed all technical aspects of Loyalty Programs for large and upscale retailers across the USA and Canada. He was responsible for building and maintaining databases and data flow models, implementing fully automated card-based customer loyalty programs.
Before this, he was the vice president and a major share holder in WA Financial Corporation, a New Jersey based financial software and consulting company, until it was acquired by Carleton, Inc. of South Bend, Indiana. At WA Financial, Shrawan was instrumental in growing the company from an office supplies business into a leading national provider of consumer lending software and consulting services. There he was solely responsible for creating financial software and formulas to computerize loan origination and loan processing services.
